Evra: Pogba's departure was 'huge loss' for United

Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra has bemoaned Paul Pogba's departure from Old Trafford in summer 2012. The youngster left the Red Devils on a free transfer and joined Juventus, whom he helped win the Serie A title last season.
Pogba made only a handful of appearances at United, but has featured regularly for Juventus and helped the Turin club to the Serie A title last season.
Fellow Frenchman Evra has expressed his disappointment at Pogba's departure from Old Trafford, noting the admiration many of the club's elder statesman had for the Lagny-sur-Marne-born midfielder.
"His talent on the pitch - his aggression, his presence, is very rare," said Evra, speaing to French TV channel TF1.
"He very quickly earned the respect of players like Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes".
Evra added: "It was truly a huge loss when he left the club".
Pogba has revealed that his ommission from United's midfield in a New Year's Eve fixture against Blackburn Rovers in 2011 was the moment he "gave up" on a successful career with the club. He was only 18-years-old when he made that decision.
The youngster made seven appearances from the bench during his time with the Red Devils.
