Nemanja Vidic, Manchester United's tenacious centre-back, has been linked with a move to Serie A champions Juventus.

Speculation is mounting about the Serbian's future at Old Trafford with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

With younger defenders such as Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones all vying for contention, new United boss David Moyes may opt to part company with United's skipper when his current deal comes to an end.

Reports in Italy claim that Juventus are monitoring the situation closely, with AC Milan another club linked with a possible move for the 32-year-old.

The former Spartak Moscow man, however, continues to play an integral role for United and many supporters will be concerned by reports linking him with a move away from the club.

Since joining the club in 2006, Vidic has clocked up 273 United appearances and has netted 18 goals.
