Three goals in 13 first-half minutes ensured Manchester United continued their rampant recent form with a 3-1 victory at Fulham.

Antonio Valencia, Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney were all on target as the Red Devils extended their unbeaten run to seven games.

Valencia broke the deadlock on 9 minutes with an easy finish, before RVP and Rooney scored in quick succession.

A second-half strike from Alex Kacaniklic proved mere consolation for the Cottagers, as United piled more misery on Martin Jol thanks to a prolific first-half performance.

Much of the post-match discussion has focused on a three-match ban handed to Sascha Riether following his stamp on Adnan Januzaj in the closing stages of the game, with the incident reviewed retrospectively using video footage.

United have now been victorious on their last three trips to Craven Cottage.
