Manchester United's resurgence of form continued on Saturday with a 3-1 victory over West Ham United at Old Trafford.
David Moyes' men made it four wins on the bounce with a comfortable win over the Hammers.
The deadlock was broken on 26 minutes as Danny Welbeck picked up a Wayne Rooney pass and fired home a low shot from an acute angle.
Adnan Januzaj doubled the advantage ten minutes later, with a fine curling effort giving Premier League debutant Adrian no chance in the Irons goal.
United continued to control proceedings after the interval and Ashley Young made it three following some nice build-up play involving Wayne Rooney and Antonio Valencia.
Carlton Cole pulled back late consultation for the visitors with a cool finish, but United were very good value for the win and are threatening to hit excellent form at a crucial time of the season.
In an action-packed festive calendar of fixtures, United now face crucial away trips to Hull and Norwich.
