Tunnicliffe staying with promotion-chasing Tractor Boys

Ryan Tunnicliffe has extended his loan spell with Ipswich Town.

The Red Devils midfielder has played a key role for Mick McCarthy’s side to date, notching up 23 appearances.

According to BBC Red Wednesday, the extension is until the end of January.

Manchester United have confirmed that the player is also eligible for FA Cup action, meaning he could feature in the third round tie against Preston North End on the weekend.

Ipswich presently sit sixth in the Championship, and Tunnicliffe will be hoping to impress the Suffolk club as they seek promotion to the top-flight.
