Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has said that his club are in negotiations to sign Manchester United midfielder Oliveira Anderson - but that the Serie A club have other targets.
Reports suggest that United boss David Moyes is prepared to let Anderson leave the club as he looks to firmly put his own stamp on the Red Devils squad.
Fiorentina are amongst those linked with the midfielder's services, and the club have confirmed their interest in the player.
Speaking to Sport Mediaset, Prade said: “Yes, we are negotiating for Anderson, but at the same time we have other objectives too.”
Anderson has now met expectations since his £27million move to the club from Porto in 2007. Under Moyes, he has notched up only four league appearances, two of which were as a substitute.
