Anderson joins Fiorentina on loan

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has moved to Fiorentina on loan until the end of the season.
The Brazilian has failed to live up to expectations at Old Trafford following a big-money £27million move from Porto in 2007.
Anderson, 25, has made 177 appearances since joining the club, scoring nine goals, but has often struggled to firmly establish himself in the club's midfield.
He has played little role at United since the arrival of David Moyes, making only four Premier League appearances, two of which were from the bench.
Fiorentina presently sit fourth in Serie A, five points behind Napoli who occupy Italy's third and final Champions League spot.
Speaking to Fiorentina's Viola Channel website, Anderson has spoken of it being a "new challenge" and "time to change", perhaps indicating that, though this is a loan move at present, he doesn't envisage playing for the Red Devils again in the future.
