Honours even between Rebels and Trafford

FC United of Manchester and Trafford shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Gigg Lane on Tuesday evening.

Callum Byrne's long-range effort for the Red Rebels off to a flying start, as Karl Marginson's men looked to lift themselves towards the Northern Premier League play-off pack.

However, Trafford restored parity on 22 minutes courtesy of a headed goal from Steve Mason.

The Red Rebels sit tenth in the division, three points behind fifth-placed King's Lynn Town.

They are back in action on Saturday as Nantwich Town visit Bury.
