United lose the Manchester derby 3-0

It is a long time since Manchester Ubited have been beaten at home in the same season by Everton, Liverpool and Manchester City. But it has happened this season and their three local and closest rivals have all taken three points away from Old Trafford.
After the victories over Olympiakos (in the Champions League) and away at West Ham in the Premier League it was hoped that United had turned the corner, however Manchester City proved that the Red Devils are currently second best in the Mancunian pecking order: it is now down to giving everything in the Champions League to salvage something from a disappointing season for the defending champions.
Bayern Munich, newly crowned German champions once again stand in the way of a United team who looked anything like champions on Tuesday evening at the theatre of dreams. Manchester City were better organised and in general a better team on the day.

Manchester United v Aston Villa 12.45 on Saturday 29th March
Manchester United v Bayern Munich 19.45 on Tuesday 1st April
Newcastle United v Manchester United 15.00 on Saturday 5th April.
