Former Manchester United centre-back James Chester picked up his first international cap on Wednesday evening as Wales lost 2-0 in the Netherlands.
Arjen Robben and Jeremain Lens hit the target as the Dutch head to Brazil on the back of a comfortable win over Chris Coleman's men.
Ex-Red Chester played 90 minutes at centre-half, alongside free agent Danny Gabbidon, and had to deal with a constant barrage of Netherlands pressure.
A Lancashire Senior Cup and Manchester Senior Cup winner with United, Chester made only one first-team appearance, as a substitute against Derby County in a League Cup semi-final.
For Louis van Gaal and the Netherlands, their next fixture will be against Spain on June 13th, with Chile and Australia completing Pool B.
