Napoli in approach for Fellaini?

Speculation is hotting up that Marouane Fellaini could be in line to make a move to Napoli, either on a temporary or permanent basis.

The Belgian midfielder struggled to establish himself during his first season at Old Trafford.

He recieved a frosty reception from sections of United's supporters during Tuesday's friendly against Valencia, but went onto bag a late winning goal.

Italian sport correspondent Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Rafael Benitez believes Fellaini is the "right player to reinforce the midfield" at Napoli.

He states the club has made official contact with United about a deal, in a move which may lease new life into Fellaini's career.

The 26-year-old arrived at the Thearte of Dreams last summer in a deal worth in the region of £27.5million.
