Arsenal switch for Welbeck looks unlikely

Paper talk linking Danny Welbeck with a move to Arsenal looks increasingly unfounded, with the club deemed unlikely to sign a new frontman during the current transfer window.
Welbeck has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with the club reportedly prepared to listen to offers in the region of £15million.
The rumour mill had suggested that Arsene Wenger's Gunners were interested in the England international, but any move looks unlikely.
BBC's David Ornstein reports that Wenger's has "no intention of recruiting any forwards on a permanent deal in this summer's transfer window".
This development comes despite Oliver Giroud picking up an injury during Arsenal's 2-2 draw at Everton, which could leave the French striker spending a sizeable spell on the sidelines.
Roberto Martinez's Toffees are another club linked with Welbeck's services, as are Spurs, but any rumoured switch to Hull City for the 23-year-old is now thought to be out of the question.
Welbeck had an opportunity to impress on Tuesday evening at Milton Keynes Dons. He enjoyed an impressive start, but faded miserably as United were dumped out of the League Cup in shambolic fashionu.
