Slow starters United bounce back at Loftus Road

United bounced back from last weekend's home defeat with a comfortable 2-0 win at relegation-threatened QPR.

Marouane Fellaini came off the bench to give United the lead shortly before the hour mark, before promising frontman James Wilson sealed the points at the death.

Harry Redknapp's Rangers, however, will feel aggrieved by the result, having impressed during the opening 45 minutes.

Lacklustre United were poor before the interval, and goal machine Charlie Austin had good opportunities to break the deadlock for the home side.

Boss Louis van Gaal, however, will be happy with his side's second-half display with a fine strike from Fellaini and a Wilson finishing handing the Red Devils a crucial three points.
