Falcao celebrates

Manchester United bounced back from their disappointment at Cambridge with three first-half goals as Leicester City were comfortably swept aside at Old Trafford.

Prior to kick-off, tributes were paid to the victims of the Munich Air Disaster - which occured 57 years ago on February 6th.

Robin van Persie broke the deadlock on 27 minutes, before Radamel Falcao scored a poacher's goal.

Dominant United made it three before the break as Wes Morgan nodded into his own net, but the Foxes denied David de Gea a clean sheet courtesy of a late goal from Marcin Wasilewski.

Whilst not a vintage United display, Louis van Gaal's men had far too much for a wayward Leicester outfit, who remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.

Full Time - Manchester United 3-0 Leicester City
Attendance - 75,329
