Manchester United defender Paddy McNair is anticipated to make his international debut on Wednesday evening, as Northern Ireland take on Scotland at Hampden Park.

Jonny Evans will also be in action for the Ulsterman in the 'Battle of Britain' international friendly.

A number of former Red Devils are in the Norn Iron squad, with Notts County 'keeper Roy Carroll, Watford's Craig Cathcart and Reading's Oliver Norwood hoping to feature for Michael O'Neill's men.

Darren Fletcher, meanwhile, is - of course - in the Gordon Strachan's Scotland squad.

Scotland sit fourth in Euro 2016 qualification Group D, but level on points with the Republic of Ireland and Georgia. In Group F, Norn Iron will be delighted to sit second, with nine points from their opening four matches.

With the Euro 2016 finals encompassing a hefty 24 nations, the top two in each Group qualify automatically, as do the four best third-placed finishers.
