Wayne Rooney opened the scoring, as England's Euro 2016 qualification juggernaut continued with a comfortable win over Lithuania at Wembley.

The Manchester United skipper broke the deadlock with only 7 minutes on the clock as Roy Hodgson's men eased to a 4-0 triumph.

Debutant Harry Kane for the fourth, with ex-Red Danny Welbeck and Raheem Sterling also on the scoresheet for the hosts.

Red Devils duo Phil Jones and Micha Carrick also featured for England.

England are taking full advantage of a favourable qualification draw; powering to a fifth win from five. Elsewhere in Group E, Switzerland beat Estonia 3-0 and Slovenia thumped Sam Marino for six.

Full Time - England 4-0 Lithuania (Attendance: 83,671)
