Wanted Udinese midfielder talks up United support

As speculation linking Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu with a Premier League switch continues, the Udinese man has revealed that he's always been a supporter of Manchester United.

Agyemang-Badu has become one of Udinese's most important players - and a number of English top-flight clubs are reportedly interested in the player's services.

The 24-year-old has been linked with both Stoke City and Watford, but seems more interested in Old Trafford!

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, he said: “I’ve always liked the Premier League, I’ve always supported Manchester United, but I never asked to go to Watford.”

Born in Berekum, Agyemang-Badu has previously had trials in England with both Middlesbrough and Wolves; and has already notched up 64 caps for his country.
