FC United of Manchester's woeful run of form continues - with a 2-1 defeat at home to Telford United on Friday evening, and elimination from the FA Trophy.

The Red Rebels have failed to win in seven outings - crashing out of the FA Cup, Manchester Premier Cup and, now, the FA Trophy in the process.

1,034 were in attendance at Broadhurst Park on Friday evening as goals from Curtis Tilt and Callum Hassan handed Telford a two-goal advantage.

George Thomson grabbed late consolation for the breakaway Conference North outfit, in a result which ended the club's Cup interest for the season. Karl Marginson must now turn his attentions to a possible relegation battle - a first for the club.
