We have hope! Manchester United’s Champions League qualification ambitions were given a huge boost on Sunday as Arsenal held bitter rivals City to a 2-2 draw at Eastlands.
The Red Devils will qualify for Europe’s elite competition if they win their final two Premier League games of the season – at West Ham, and at home to AFC Bournemouth.
United sit a single point behind fourth-placed City, with a game-in-hand.
Arsene Wenger did United a rare favour, as his side twice came from behind to share the spoils.
Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez were on target for the visitors, with Sergio Aguero and Kevin de Bruyne also on the scoresheet.
It adds added spice to Tuesday evening’s clash at Upton Park; the final game at the famous East London ground.
The Hammers, mathematically, could still finish fourth, pending a goal difference miracle, but know a win would not only be an ideal send off to their 112-year-old home, but boost chances of a spot in the Europa League.
