Two former Manchester United men ruined Wales' dreams of Euro 2016 glory on Wednesday evening, as Portugal claimed a 2-0 victory in Lyon.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani were on target as Portugal secured safe passage to Sunday's final in Paris.
The game, the first which Portugal have won at the finals in 90 minutes, ended Chris Coleman's bid for success. Portugal struck twice in quick succession after half-time.
Wales have lit up the tournament with a shock run to the final four, including famous and impressive wins over Russia and Belgium.
However, Portugal proved a step too far for Wales, with the absence of suspended duo Aaron Ramsay and Ben Davies clear to see. The squad will return to Cardiff, however, as heroes.
France or Germany await Portugal in the final, with United trio Morgan Schneiderlin, Anthony Martial and Bastian Schweinsteiger all having a big interest.
