Januzaj's MUFC spell coming to an end?

Adnan Januzaj’s future at Old Trafford looks bleak, with reports suggesting the player has been told he has no future at the club, and the winger now eager to engineer a move to another Premier League club.
Sunderland, who have already snapped up Red Devils duo Paddy McNair and Donald Love, have been heavily linked with a move for the 21-year-old.
There was a tremendous amount of hype about Januzaj in 2013, as he marked his first Premier League start with a sensational brace against Sunderland.
Following the game, Michael Carrick said his team-mate could be “anything he wants to be”, whilst Darren Fletcher later said the youngster was "up there with some of the best".
However, he has failed to build on such earlier achievements, and spent a spell on 2015 on loan at Dortmund, where he notched up only six Bundesliga appearances from the bench.
The player struggled for first-team opportunities under Louis van Gaal and, according to speculation, has been told by Mourinho that he doesn’t have a longer-term future as part of his new-look Manchester United side.
At the time, that Sunderland brace relieved some of the pressure on David Moyes; and it is the former United and Everton manager said to be interested in snapping up Januzaj’s services.
Indeed, Moyes is clearly a keen admirer of Januzaj. He rewarded the player with a new five-year contract at United three years ago, from which he is now seeking to prise him away.

How can something that hasn't happened yet come to an end? What a stupid headline! If he leaves then there is no Manchester United future so, if there isn't one, it cannot come to an end. Do these people get paid for thinking up this rubbish?

Unfortunately, not!
These fans sites are run voluntarily, and for the love of the club.
It's a hobby, really - and we've been going for some 13 years, which I think makes us one of the longest standing MUFC online fansites out there.
But - thanks for the feedback on the headline. Have amended!

I remember when I first came onto this site and the timeframe matches up, I would've been here since the very beginning. I was first on here leading up to Euro 2004 and at a time when swearing wasn't fitted with "****" for example, so a very long time ago. I remember the big database crash where everyone lost their post counts, usernames were saved but everyone from back then looks like they registered in 2007 now.
I even remember being a particularly nasty person on here but fortunately I've grown up over the years but now the regulars on this United sub-forum have all moved on now. Sometimes I wonder what some of the old regulars from here are up to now, posting on RedCafe etc, perhaps. The busiest forums for years on this website was this one, Newcastle's, Liverpool's and Arsenal's. The only regular forum that has remained is the Arsenal sub-forum and most of the regulars from years ago still post over there.
Anyway, you guys have done a great job keeping this particular ManUtdWeb-site afloat, especially now that the most traffic the site does receive are author articles.

We'll keep going - and looking at ways we can lease new life into the forum.
The glory days were great - yourself, Irish Red, Whiteside Shoots, Rogero, UNI-TED and many others whose usernames I forget; we had a really busy community for a while.
The way fans interact has changed a lot and social media now dominates - but messageboards still very much have their place; and any ideas anyone has as to reviving the old days, would be fantastic.
The hits to the site are still pleasing - often coming through directly to articles, from news aggregator sites.
We've had approximately 7,000 unique visitors in the last few days, as an example - which isn't quite up to the levels of the glory days of the site; but is still decent enough!
You're spot on - Newcastle, Liverpool, Arsenal and ourselves used to have really busy forums. Also, there was a Ferrari site which was incredibly busy - and a few in the lower divisions which acted as their club's lead forums.
Hopefully, even better glory days lie ahead for the site! We've no plans to go anywhere - we can have a big celebration for our 15th anniversary in 2018...!!

I am pleased to hear it! I was a regular on another forum (not a sporting forum), which has died down a lot the last 2-3 years and might only get 10 points per week from people who used to be regulars years ago and that site has remained with no end in sight, the admin just doesn't want to shut it down which I think is fantastic. And you're right, social media dominates everything now which is a shame. I wish this particular site was busier, especially now that we've had the transfer window we have had, I love seeing this current excitement from our fans.
Anyway, take care mate. Can't wait to get the season underway. Go United!

The glory days of message boards may have gone, but I feel they still have their place. Twitter for me is just a load of headlines and Facebook is full of people boasting sbout their holidays and taking pictures of their evening meals!
I do wonder where Irish Red and many others are - probably watching the websites from the wings but still with their United shirts on!
