Rio "never had" the "winning" feeling at Leeds

Rio Ferdinand has delivered a painful dig to United's rivals, by saying he "never had" the "feeling of winning" before moving to Old Trafford.
Speaking on BT Sport, following United's Community Shield triumph over Leicester City, the former England defender spoke of a player's desire to keep on claiming silverware.
He said: "That feeling of winning becomes an addiction. I never had it before I went to Manchester United. Once I got it, I was never leaving."
The comment is likely to anger Leeds supporters, for whom Ferdinand spent under two years, before making a record-breaking £30million switch to Old Trafford.
Prior to moving to United, the only silverware Ferdinand did win was the UEFA Intertoto Cup at West Ham; but he went onto win six Premier League medals, three League Cups, the Champions League, Fifa Club World Cup and six Community Shields as a Red Devil.
One major trophy, however, which did elude Ferdinand was the FA Cup. His final chance faded in 2015 at the third round stage, as his QPR side were beaten by Sheffield United. However, with a cabinet full of medals, Ferdinand is a hugely decorated defender who achieved great things, and a winning feeling, with the club!
