Nantes manager Loci Amisse is claiming that Manchester United are interested in Cameroonian midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba. The player impressed Sir Alex Ferguson when Nantes last met United in the Champions League.

Newly appointed Nantes manager Loci Amisse claims Manchester United are after his young Cameroonian midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba. The 22-year-old Cameroon international has been linked to Old Trafford in the past, after impressing Sir Alex Ferguson when United played Nantes in the UEFA Champions League. "Manchester United told us that they would make a written offer," Amisse said. "But Eric is not against staying for another year with us." Amisse added. United are rumoured to be offering £ 2.1 million for the player. Djemba-Djemba was involved in Cameroon’s World Cup campaign, and plays a similar game to Roy Keane. |
