Manchester United have arranged a pre-season friendly with Stoke City on August 13th at the Britannia Stadium. The game takes place two days after United's Community Shield match with Arsenal, and will be United's only domestic friendly.

Manchester United have confirmed they will face Stoke City
at the Britannia Stadium in a pre-season friendly on August 13th, in what is
expected to be United's only domestic friendly in the build up to the
forthcoming season. The game takes place just two days after United face Arsenal for the Community Shield at the Millennium Stadium. The Potters have been forced to move their Carling League Cup tie against Rochdale to the following week to accommodate the friendly. Stoke's chief executive Jonathan Fuller is excited about the game. "We are delighted that Manchester United accepted our invitation to play their final pre-season friendly against us." said Fuller. "We are also grateful for the co-operation of both the Football League and especially Rochdale for agreeing to delay our Carling Cup match until the following week." he added. The game has been arranged for a 7.45pm kick-off. |
