Real out of Ronaldinho Race

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed that his club will not be signing Ronaldinho. The La Liga champions had been bidding against United to sign the Brazilian. Chelsea and Barcelona are both believed to be still interested in the 23-year-old.

Florentino Perez has confirmed his clubs spending spree is over, and they will
not look to bring Brazilian ace Ronaldinho to the Bu Real and United had been the forerunners in the bidding for the 23-year-old, but Real's spending spree has ended with the signing of Argentine defender Gabriel Milito. “The business of buying new players has closed,” said Perez. “Milito’s signing means Ronaldinho wont be coming to Real this season." Chelsea and Barcelona have now emerged as potential rivals to United for 'Dinho's signature. The result of the Ronaldinho transfer saga was expected to be announced this week, but it now seems we may have to wait longer to find out where the World Cup winners future lies. |
