Chadwick to Spend Season with Burnley

Luke Chadwick will spend next season on loan at Burnley. The 22-year-old spent the latter part of last season on loan to Reading, giving him some much needed first-team experience, and Sir Alex Ferguson is hopeful that the year at Burnley will help him to fulfill his potential.

Burnley boss Stan Ternent has confirmed that he has landed United's talented right-winger Luke Chadwick, on a one-year loan deal. Chadwick spent the latter part of last season on loan at Reading, helping the Royals to secure a Playoff place. The 22-year-old is seen as a player of some potential, but with the brick wall of David Beckham having stood in his way for the past few seasons, Chadwick has struggled to get much first-team experience. Nottingham Forest and newly-promoted Cardiff City both expressed interest in signing Chadwick on loan, but Sir Alex Ferguson's close relationship with the Burnley boss secured Chadwick's season at Turf Moor.
