Manchester United boss Sir
Alex Ferguson has been charged by the FA for misconduct, after being sent
off during United’s Premiership game with Newcastle last Saturday. The cause of the outburst
was because of a bad tackle by Andy O’Brien on Ryan Giggs, but referee of
the game Uriah Rennie and fourth official Jeff Winter failed to take action
on O’Brien. This made Sir Alex furious. The FA released a
statement yesterday, saying: “The
FA has today charged Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson with
misconduct for breaches of FA Rule E1 and E2.” “He
has 14 days to respond.” |
