Manchester United are set to sign two of Africa's brightest prospects, Jon Mikel and Promise Isaac. The two Nigerians impressed United scouts at the World Youth Championships and were impressive during trials at Carrington, so Sir Alex Ferguson offered them contracts.

The two Nigerians impressed United scouts at the World Youth Championships and were impressive during trials at Carrington, so Sir Alex Ferguson offered them contracts. It is understood that when they sign, they would both go out on loan to Belgian feeder club Royal Antwerp to give them first-team experience. Isaac, 16 and Mikel, 17 have been tipped as the finest footballers to come out of Africa. |
