Both United U19s and U17s were in action on Saturday and both managed to pick up maximum points against their opponents. Brain McClair's U19 side won 2-1 away against Huddersfield and Francisco Filho's U17 side strolled to success at home to Wolverhampton Wonderers, trashing the midlands club 4-0.

Brain McClair's U19 side won 2-1 away against Huddersfield and Francisco Filho's U17 side strolled to success at home to Wolverhampton Wonderers, trashing the midlands club 4-0. Englishmen Eddie Johnson and Sylvan Embanks-Blake were on target for the U19 team as they won by the odd goal. The U17 side had a more convincing victory at home to Wolves. They were 1-0 up at the interval and turned up gear in the second half to score 3 in just under 25 minutes. Frazier Campbell, Sam Hewson and Aaron Burns (2) were on target for the Filho's boys.
