Manchester United go into their second Champions League game this season on a real high, after hammering Premiership new-boys Leicester City 4-1 away from home.

German opponents VfB Stuttgart are doing surprisingly well in the Bundesliga, they are currently top of the league and unbeaten after 7 games. But they did suffer a set back against Scottish opponents Rangers in the first game of the competition.

As for the teams, United look to bring back French international Mikael Silvestre, who was rested on Saturday, to partner Rio Ferdinand at centre-back.

Sir Alex looks set to bring back Cristiano Ronaldo, and looks set to play skipper Roy Keane and Nicky Butt in midfield.

United will have to keep a close eye on Hungarian forward Imre Szabics and Croatian midfielder Zvonimir Soldo who have both scored two goals for Stuttgart so far this season.

Stuttgart's manager, one time Champions League winner,  Felix Magath has commented on the gameahead. Saying:

"Manchester United will be a real test on Wednesday night,"

"But having lost to Rangers at Ibrox, it's all hands to the pumps for the Weiss-Rot. "After the defeat in Glasgow we must now, wherever possible, pick points." he added.

If you fancy a flutter, United have been placed at 4/5 to win this though fixture by Ladbrokes.

One to Watch - Imre Szabics
The Hungarian international forward has already scored two Bundesliga goals this season and will be looking to add more to his tally.

The hard-working Hungarian has been a key figure in getting Stuttgart to the Champions League and will be looking to punish United.

I'm in a pessimistic mood. These games are incredibly tough for any team and I'm sure the Germans will steal 2 points from United.
