Swans Sign Two United Youngsters

Welsh side Swansea City have signed Manchester United duo Daniel Nardiello and Alan Tate on a 1 month loan spell. Alan Tate spent all of last season with the Swans and impressed manager Brain Flynn at center-half, playing 27 games.

Welsh side Swansea City have signed Manchester
United duo Daniel Nardiello and Alan Tate on a 1 month loan spell.
Alan Tate spent all of last season with the Swans and impressed manager Brain Flynn at center-half, playing 27 games. Flynn signed Nardiello because they are without top goalscorer Lee Trundle and wanted someone to fill his boots. "He's an out and out goalscorer, he's quick and direct. He's scored 12 goals for Manchester United reserves already this season." said Flynn Swans manager and Welshman Brain Flynn will try to tempt Nardiello to play for Wales. Nardiello was originally born in England but can qualify to play for Wales as he has a Welsh father. "I'll be trying to push him towards playing for Wales now," said Flynn. "They'll gain experience playing in the Football League and so that's why I think the relationship is so strong." "Their is an option to extend the initial loan period with both players and I'd be delighted if we could do that because I'm certain both players will do well for us." Flynn went on to say. |
