Manchester United are on the verge of signing Chinese youngster Dong Fanzhuo from Dalian in China. The 18-year old midfielder impressed everyone at United during 2-week trial at Old Trafford a few weeks ago and Sir Alex Ferguson is set to launch a bid for the Chinese sensation.

The 18-year old midfielder impressed everyone at United during 2-week trial at Old Trafford a few weeks ago and Sir Alex Ferguson is set to launch a bid for the Chinese sensation. "We're signing the Chinese boy, hopefully in the next few weeks," said Sir Alex Ferguson Dalian manager Lin Lefang commented on the move, saying: "Dalian would not mind striking a loan deal because we see no harm in such an arrangement for the player in question. "We hope we can get Dong to England. We don't mind a three to five year loan deal and as part of the club's sincerity, we are willing to allow letting the player go for free on loan" Lefang added. |
