Fletcher Stars in Scottish Triumph
United's promising winger Darren Fletcher put in a fantastic performance, showing his true potential, as Scotland stunned Holland with a superb 1-0 victory in the first-leg of their European Championships' Play-Off game at Hampden Park.

Fletcher netted the only goal of Scotland's final qualifying group game with Lithuania to seal a place in the play-offs for the Tartan Army, and he put in another impressive display against a Dutch side who could fail to qualify for the second major tournament in succession.

James McFadden's 22nd minute strike was the only goal of the game, and leaves the Scots with a superb chance of qualifying for their first major championship since France hosted the World Cup back in 1998.
