West Ham boss Alan Pardew wants to take Manchester United youngster Kieran Richardson on loan for the rest of the season. 18-year old Richardson was signed from the Hammers in 2001 but may go back there to gain vital first-team experience.

season.
18-year old Richardson, who Sir Alex Ferguson signed from the Hammers, has mainly appeared as a substitute in numerous Champions League and Carling Cup games, has been vital for United's reserve and youth team games and was involved in the Youth Cup win over Middlesbrough last season. Pardew has had a patchy start with West Ham since taking over them from Reading, but got his first win on the weekend with a 4-0 win over Wigan Athletic. The Hammers will be looking to keep up the high standard in the new year, but with Richardson with them. |
