Fulham boss Chris Coleman has warned Manchester United off Luis Saha, and is hopeful his prize asset will extend his contract with the London club. Saha has netted 10 goals this season for the Cottagers as they aim high with qualification for the Europe a strong possibility.

Manchester United off his star striker Louis Saha, and has urged the
Frenchman to sign an extension to his current contract with the London club. The French striker has been instrumental this season, with ten goals already to his name, as Fulham look to shock the Premiership by finishing in the fourth European Cup place. However, this achievement would be very unlikely if the Welsh international sold his prize asset. "You would expect this kind of speculation because Louis is a top player. But it is not going to happen." said Coleman. "Louis is not going anywhere." United look set to delve into the transfer market in January for a new forward, and Saha is just one of many names mentioned. Henrik Larsson, Mark Viduka, Luis Fabiano and Division One strikers Jermaine Defoe and Robert Earnshaw have all been rumoured to be inline for a move to Old Trafford come the New Year. Van Nistelrooy and Diego Forlan are United's only two out-and-out strikers in the squad, and although both are having exceptional seasons there is little doubt that United need to bolster their forward line if they are to win trophies this season. |
