Victory for the visitors will send United top of the Premiership following Arsenal's inability to beat Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, but Ferguson's side will face a difficult task as they face a Spurs side desperate to get their season back on track after a mixed opening to the campaign. However, David Pleat's London side are currently suffering several injuries to key players, and the bookmakers have made United clear favorites to come away from North London will all three points. Darren Anderton and Dean Richards are both major doubts and Welsh start Simon Davies is definitely out for the hosts. Rio Ferdinand is expected to play and Nicky Butt is likely to start, as Sir Alex rotates his squad towards Christmas. United have been placed at an unattractive 8/13 to take all 3 points away from north London and Spurs are 7/2 to win the match.
