Martin Jol has confirmed that he will be leaving his post as manager at Dutch side RKC Waalwijk in the summer, leaving him free to be Sir Alex Ferguson's assistant. Jol's contract at RKC expires in the summer and will look to take the spot as No.2.

he will be leaving his post as manager at Dutch side RKC Waalwijk in the
summer, leaving him free to be Sir Alex Ferguson's right hand man.
Ferguson admitted that he wanted Jol, 47, as his assistant in the summer and hopes he could join United. The Dutchman said in the summer: "I had a three-hour talk with him. Until now I have heard nothing yet," "I don't want to say anything about this Manchester United deal, because I have a rule with Ferguson that I'll not say anything," "But if I get the chance to go to Manchester it would be a very interesting job" Jol's contract at RKC expires in the summer and will look to take the spot as No.2. |
