Dong Finally Set To Complete Move

Manchester United are set to complete the signing of Chinese sensation Dong Fangzhuo according to Dong’s current manager at Chinese outfit Dalian. The 18-year old striker has been tipped for big success in the future and impressed United boss Sir Alex Ferguson during a one-month trial at Carrington.

superstar Dong Fangzhuo is finally set to sign for Manchester United after
months of negotiations between United and Dalian Shide.
The 18-year old striker has been touted as a 'revelation' in Asian youth football and will sign for United for around £2-4 million. "Dong's contract will be signed in one or two days," said Dalian's manager Lin Lefeng "The deal is both commercial and footballing," admitted United director Sir Bobby Charlton a few weeks ago and will along with United's new Chinese official website, boost United's ever growing popularity in Asia. Dong impresssed United's coaches during a trial at Carrington and Sir Alex Ferguson was quick to snap up the forward. |
