The two unnamed two were rushed to a local hospital after the accident that took place outside Carrington training complex, at Carrington Lane. Police say that they are serious injuries and more information on the matter will follow. United released a statement saying: "Manchester United's reserve-team game against Birmingham this evening has been cancelled due to two United youth team players being involved in a serious road traffic accident on Carrington Lane early this afternoon." Manchester United have already lost a player due to a road accident this season. Promising prospect Jimmy Davis was tragically involved in a road accident on the first day of Division 1's fixtures whilst on-loan at Watford and unfortunately died. Rest In Peace Jimmy Davis...
