Manchester United defender Alan Tate is set to move to Swansea City on a permanent basis after enjoying several loan spells at The Vetch. Tate, 21, spent all of last season on-loan to the Welsh Division 3 outfit and start of the current season also.

enjoying several loan spells at The Vetch.
Tate, 21, spent all of last season on-loan to the Welsh Division 3 outfit and start of the current season. It was Tate's very impressive performances at centre-half that made him a fan favourite with The Swans and Swansea director of football Brain Flynn had to snap-up the youngster. "He's signing with us this Thursday" confirmed Flynn. "I'm absolutely delighted. He's been with us twice on loan and he's shown his qualities with us." Tate also reportedly attracted interest from Swansea's bitter rivals Cardiff City but The Swans were too quick off the mark in signing Tate to give City manager Lennie Lawrence any chance in perusing the defender. |
