Manchester United defender John O'Shea has been called-up to the Republic of Ireland squad for the glamour friendly international against world champions Brazil. The 22-year-old will be hoping for his thirteenth Irish cap when Ronaldo and company visit Lansdowne Road on February 18th.

Manchester United defender John O'Shea has been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad for the nations glamour friendly against Brazil.

The 22-year-old already has 12 caps and 1 international goals for the his country, and his fast becoming a vital part of the Irish set-up.

Ronaldo and company visit Lansdowne Road on February 18th, in a game designed to keep the interest in national football in Ireland after the Brian Kerr's side failed to qualify for the European Championships' to be held in Portugal later this year.
