Van Nistelrooy In Action Against USA

United 'keeper Tim Howard was in the USA fold but didn't really have to do much except sit on the bench and watch his side fall to a 57th minute strike from PSV wonderkid and Manchester United target Arjen Robben.

Van Nistelrooy was celebrating a 13th minute goal until it was ruled offside by the linesman. He was arguably offside though. He got yellow carded soon after.

Just after the re-start Dick Advocatt's side took the lead from a beautiful Arjen Robben goal. After picking the ball up from midfield, he ran past two defenders and from 8-yards he kicked it well past Kasey Keller in the Yankee goal.

Van Nistelrooy got substituted by Pierre van Hooijdonk on the 82nd minute and Holland saw the game off nicely to claim victory.
