to keep their prized possession Luis Jimenez away from the likes of
excited Manchester United, who are hot on the trail trying to lure the
wonderkid to play in their colours.
Chilean Luis Jimenez, a highly rated 19-year old midfielder, has enjoyed a very successful season so far with Italian Serie B outfit Ternana and now wants to leave and better himself by playing the beautiful game elsewhere. Ternana have confirmed that top clubs including United have indeed sent scouts to assess the player and watch him play. "Many teams are eyeing him, but at the moment we haven't got any intention to talk about his future. We will see at the end of season." said Ternana's boss Stefano Capozucca. "Manchester United? Juventus? Inter? Yes, it's true. These are all teams that arrived here to see him playing." Capozucca confirmed. Reports have been so strong about him leaving the Serie B outfit this season that Juventus fans were bamboozled about the move and at one point thought he was an official Juve player. But Ternana boss Stefano Capozucca has denied rumors linking him to Juve. In favour of United? We never know.
