Manchester United and England goalscoring midfielder Paul Scholes has blasted the poor refereeing in United's last game against Fulham and that Louis Saha's penalty appeal could have cost them the league. Fulham battled back to draw 1-1 on the weekend and due to that result Chelsea overtook United.

Fulham battled back to draw 1-1 against United on the weekend and due to that result Chelsea have gone above The Red Devils on goal-difference and have gone 9 points adrift of Arsenal and Paul Scholes blames that on one certain incident in the game at Loftus Road. He thinks Edwin van der Sar clearly brought down Louis Saha on purpose during the latter stages of the fixture to cost United a penalty and potential 3 valuable points but ref' Alan Wiley thought differently. "The keeper went straight across Louis Saha," said Scholes "It's not even debatable. The referee had a really good view of it. I read somewhere that he said he couldn't be 100% sure. But, he was 20 yards away from it. How he can't see it from there I'll never know." "It could be massive. We'll just have
