Cardiff City goalkeeper Martyn Margetson has taken time to praise Manchester United's young goalkeeper Ben Williams who is currently serving a short loan spell at Crewe Alexandra. The Bluebirds 'keeper was impressed by Williams despite conceding a goal in the 1-0 victory to Cardiff at Gresty Road.

lavished praise upon Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Williams who is
currently serving a short loan spell at Crewe Alexandra.
The Bluebirds 'keeper was impressed by Williams' talent despite conceding a goal in the 1-0 victory to the Welsh outfit at Gresty Road on the weekend. "I really felt for him because he was different class all afternoon. It was harsh on him because he made a lot of good saves," said the CCFC No.1 The Welshman continued: " I will phone Tony Cotton (Manchester United's goalkeeping coach) and tell him he has a very good prospect on his hands," " I hope he's not Welsh with a name like 'Williams', it would be more competition for me and I've got enough of that already!" he quipped. The 20-year old was unlucky not to stop Gary Croft's cheeky lob after 69 minutes which won Cardiff the match and will retain his spot in between the sticks for Crewe's visit to Stoke. |
