Djemba-Djemba Involved In Car Accident

According to reports, Manchester United midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba was involved in a car accident which saw a 14-year old girl getting run-over buy Djemba-Djemba in his car. Police insist no dangerous driving was involved and that the injuries the young girl sustained were not life-threatening.

According to reports, Manchester United midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba was involved in a car accident which saw a 14-year old girl getting run-over buy Djemba-Djemba in his car.

Police claim the injuries that the young girl sustained are not life threatening and also assert that there was no dangerous driving involved.

"Eric Djemba-Djemba was involved in an incident on Sunday evening." said a United official.

"He reported it immediately to the emergency services and stands ready to help the police."

The Greater Manchester police say: ""Early indications are that the girl may have stepped out in front of the car,"

"No dangerous driving was involved," they added.

The Cameroon international, 22, was signed from French outfit Nantes in the summer and has bagged two goals for the Red Devils so far this season and also represented his country in the African Cup of Nations earlier this year.
