United Officially Concede Crown to Gunners

Chelsea's 2-1 loss at St. James' Park also helped the Gunners confirm their 3rd Premiership crown after winning twice before in 1998 and 2002.

Despite the results in final 3 league games for the Red Devils against Aston Villa, Chelsea and Blackburn respectively, it is mathematically impossible for United to retain their Premiership title that they won in style last season.

Sir Alex Ferguson's main league priority is to reach 2nd spot but Chelsea are the obstacle in the way. The pair are yet to play each other for the second time this season and there is only 1 point between 3rd and 2nd place.

However, United can still win major silverware this term as they have the small matter of an FA Cup final to attend to against first-division outfit Millwall.
