United Agree to Terminate Stewart Loan Deal

Manchester United have come to a conclusion with Nationwide Division One outfit Nottingham Forest to terminate on-loan midfielder Michael Stewart's loan spell at The City Ground. Scotsman Stewart was brought to the club by ex-boss Paul Hart and has started only 11 times in a Forest jersey.

Manchester United have come to a conclusion
with Nationwide Division One outfit Nottingham Forest to terminate on-loan
midfielder Michael Stewart's loan spell at The City Ground.
Scotsman Stewart was brought to the club by ex-boss Paul Hart and has started only 11 times in a Forest jersey but has been surplus to requirement since the arrival of Joe Kinnear. The 23-year old has failed to make an impression for Forest fans and players alike and has yet to play a game for Kinnear. "I had a long chat with Michael and we decided that it was best for all concerned if he returned to Manchester United." Kinnear confirmed. The Scottish capped midfielder was linked with Ipswich Town earlier in the year and Burnley boss Stan Ternant hasn't been shy in expressing his admiration for the midfielder. |
