Van Nistelrooy's Agent 'Sick and Tired' of Rumours

The agent of Manchester United star Ruud van Nistelrooy has admitted that he is 'sick and tired' of the rumours linking the Dutchman with a move to a Spanish outfit. The Dutch international has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent weeks.

Nistelrooy has admitted that he is 'sick and tired' of the rumours linking
the Dutchman with a move to a Spanish outfit.
The Dutch international has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent weeks but agent Rodger Linse has dismissed transfer talk. "I'm sick and tired concerning the rumours around Ruud van Nistelrooy,'' said Linse. "I have not done a deal with Barcelona and neither me or Ruud have met Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and discussed a move." "I hoped I wouldn't find myself in a situation where I would have to deny the rubbish that has been written about Ruud and my alleged involvement in attempting to negotiate a transfer to either Barcelona or Real Madrid. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been interested in the 27-year old and would love to make RVN part of his collection of 'galacticos'. Linse continued: "He has signed a contract extension until 2008 and nothing has changed in that respect. Until someone says otherwise, he will remain a Manchester United player." |
