Scouts Jet Off To U17 Championship

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has sent a number of scouts to France to spy on a few players at the European Under-17 Championship. The teams involved: Austria, England, Northern Ireland, France, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and Ukraine possess some of the Europe's finest talent.

sent a number of scouts to France to spy on a few players at the European
Under-17 Championship.
The 8 teams involved: Austria, England, Northern Ireland, France, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and Ukraine possess some of the Europe's finest talent and Ferguson wants to make sure he doesn't miss out on a number of gems. England U17 manager John Peacock has picked young Red Devils striker Frazier Campbell in his squad of 18 and Peacock's outfit are now in the last 4 of the competition after impressive wins against Portugal and Ukraine. Highly rated Spanish defender Gerard Piqué Bernabeu, who has been linked with United, is in the Spanish team and there is no doubt scouts have accessed the Barcelona wonderkid. |
